Whereas someone who is drunk makes phone calls to people in the middle of the night. Ideally, they know these people. But we cannot assure you this is always the case. I've seen someone do drunk texting more than once. Same person. If I see them starting to text, I have to warn them .... I ask, &quot;you're not going to do drunk texting are you?&quot; But there is no stopping them. Unless you hide the phone and they go crazy searching for it, they will be lost in drunk texting for an indefinite period of wasted time. When&nbsp;they get sucked into the phone and become tiny&nbsp;people on an amazing voyage, something else has happened. It goes deeper than drinking. ( most wild animals are far away in woods and jungles and mountains. I can feel relaxed&nbsp;by their wildness being so distant from me. I mean, no bobcat eating the cat food at night .... no bears in the trash cans .... no eagles&nbsp;snatching&nbsp;babies from the park) I don't recommend drunk texting to anyone. I warn about it. People are TYPING&nbsp;NONSENSE&nbsp;FOR&nbsp;HOURS! SENDING&nbsp;CHAPTERS&nbsp;OF&nbsp;REPLIES! ......&nbsp;Zeus, please? The buildings are big, some of the memorials are enormous, and the egos are huge. I paid a visit to DC recently. Saw big 'ole Abe at his memorial. Saw big 'ole Washington Monument and big 'ole Smithsonian. The place is a tourist blockbuster of sites. Vast and expansive. But I was spared the big 'ole egos I see on TV so often. It starred Barbara Streisand and Robert Redford. To add to the popularity was a hit song sung by Streisand that shared the same title. The song remained on the Billboard&nbsp;Hot 100 for 23 weeks and sold over 1 million copies.&nbsp;The movie was nominated for several Academy Awards. I heard that song today and it has been a while. It reminded me of those moments between a couple that makes them close. All the fun times and happy times ... the caring times. And sure .. for many of us Americans, that all becomes dust in the wind and fades into a forgotten past. But songs like The Way We Were must have that power to bring one back to those times when innocence was shared between two people, and life was beautiful. This is always a special thing that two people can share together. The words to the song go as follows .... In other words, if A+B once equaled C, they will be changing it to D+E now equals Q. Isn't it amazing! &quot;The US economy will officially become 3 per cent bigger in July as part of a shake-up that will see government statistics take into account 21st century components such as film royalties and spending on research and development. Billions of dollars of intangible assets will enter the gross domestic product of the world&rsquo;s largest economy in a revision aimed at capturing the changing nature of US output. Brent Moulton, who manages the national accounts at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, told the Financial Times that the update was the biggest since computer software was added to the accounts in 1999. 'We are carrying these major changes all the way back in time &ndash; which for us means to 1929 &ndash; so we are essentially rewriting economic history,' said Mr Moulton. The changes will affect everything from the measured GDP of different US states to the stability of the inflation measure targeted by the Federal Reserve. 'We&rsquo;re capitalising research and development and also this category referred to as entertainment, literary and artistic originals, which would be things like motion picture originals, long-lasting television programmes, books and sound recordings,' said Mr Moulton. At present, R&amp;D counts as a cost of doing business, so the final output of Apple iPads is included in GDP but the research done to create them is not. R&amp;D will now count as an investment, adding a bit more than 2 per cent to the measured size of the economy. GDP will soar in small states that host a lot of military R&amp;D, but barely change in others, widening measured income gaps across the US. R&amp;D is expected to boost the GDP of New Mexico by 10 per cent and Maryland by 6 per cent while Louisiana will see an increase of just 0.6 per cent. Creative works are expected to add a further 0.5 per cent to the overall size of the US economy. Around one-third of that will come from movies, one-third from TV programmes, and one-third from books, music and theatre.&quot; Maybe they just screwed up all these years and cheated our economic numbers.
