Promise to Self

I am stuck in a living condition I can hardly stand. My room mate doesn't buy groceries really. We don't have furniture yet. We are sleeping on airbeds. I am feeling slightly depressed. I like my job well enough and it pays well, but hers doesn't and she seems content to not change that. I am also in a town that holds many bad memories, but I promised myself before I came here that I would accomplish things before my lease ran out in a year.

One of them is losing weight. That is something I am very intent on doing. I am proud of myself also. I haven't gone after junk food the way I used to. There are too many thoughts in my head to write down and I am low on sleep, but I promise myself that no matter how hard this seems I won't give up.

The Consequense of Giving into Stress

<strike>Well, to put this lightly. 1 year ago I tried very hard to lose 20 lbs and did so with flying colors. Infact, it only took me a </strike><strike>month and a half. The weight stayed off for months, but then my grandmother passed away. I slept with a boy, that I realized later was a huge mistake. I had no clue it would mess with me so much. My roommate left in the middle of the night and I was stuck with all of the bills so I had to live with my parents for a few months. ....All of these things I would say add up to a living nightmare, plus I had an intensely stressful job.
</strike>

I have gained nearly 50 lbs and I'm no where near obese...but I'm not fitting into the pants I worked so hard to get into anymore. I could cry for hours knowing that I had let stress get the best of me and I gained all that weight within just a few months. It's going to be hard work, but I have to be optimistic no matter what. I'm going to lose this weight again, and this time, if I battle stress again...I will just know that compromising my health is not a good choice in the long run. Hopefully, I will have luck. I've started a diet and though it isn't easy all the time I would say my success is going pretty well. Within a couple weeks I have dropped five lbs just by cutting back on eating a bit and now I'm going into hard drive.

Interview at the Ruins

Hide the petals underneath that bedroom floorboard
and they will wither without fail or success.
Put the people in the hollow box they crafted,
bolt the doors and watch them perish.
Its a cautious descent, so polite and pensive at first.
But the only truth is change, have patience
(every hundredth year, a single breath and then its over...)
Even if only for a minute for a minute its over.
Even if only for a minute.
So brave in the face of all those roots that ruin,
to stand so tall when in fact in ruins.
To face that corner of the box and dive in,
just the sound alone of its humble breath.
A murmur from the ruins echoes softly as the roots undo, and the branch becomes...

-Coffee to the rescue.

-Iced Tea Woot!

   3) 100 calorie popcorn? Good idea and cheap!...Also filling.

    4) Plenty of rest? Yes, don't get distracted.

-Working to a Happier Self

    1) You are beautiful so bring out your hidden potential.

         * Be smart! Think before eating

*Be disciplined! Get up and move.

*Make a change around you! Don't get self absorbed.

*Don't waste time drinking! It is really accomplishing nothing but another crappy day of relying on it.

[[This diet is created by me and this advice so if it doesn't make sense that is why. It is something I sort of wrote to myself]]
