Im glad to finally have a place where I can write freely.

Im also glad to have a place where I can post a Backstreet Boys song without a care. Ha!

Free to fly.

Mother's Day is coming, and this will be my first one as a mommy.
Its really got me thinking, too.
A couple days ago I found all of my old BSB CD's... I was such a cool loser... *laughs*
Anyway... I put in 3 of them on random on my CD player, and Perfect Fan was the first song to come on... of course.
Obviously I sang along word for word to my baby boy, until the "just how to walk without your hands" part... than I just broke, and bawled.

My mum listened to the Backstreet Boys just as often as me... we'd always listen to them over and over again in the car.
Whether she did it because she actually liked them, or whether it was just because I did, I dont know... but I love her so much for it.
Their songs almost all remind me of her, and Im glad I've found that. I really miss her.
It will have been 3 years in June... it hasnt been that long, but at the same time it feels like forever. I seriously, really miss her.

Until I was 19, I had never had ANY real experiences with death, other than my dog dying after 9 years with him...
and than she (mum) was swept away from me in what seemed like, a blink of an eye.
So many gut wrenching memories from that time period will forever remain burned into my brain...
But not one of them overpower my miss for her.
I know she sent me my son.
And I know shes watching over us both, every day (and shes doing an amazing job)... for which, I am so thankful.
She was always so obsessed with angels... and now, shes the true guardian angel that she was always meant to be.
