Personal Description

 I'm your fairly average 28 year old guy, with a few caveats.  I work full time as an EMT and I'm also attending a local state university.  I just started this fall and I'm majoring in Communications and Media.  I hope to someday be able to work in TV or movie production.

Recently I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and major depression following a medication overdose and a week long hospital stay.  Since then I've been struggling with finding the right medication and dosage.  The side effects have also caused issues at my second job, which led to my termination at a certain electronics retailer with a large yellow tag.  

Since my termination a month ago, I've had to add the additional stress of finding a new job with benefits.  My EMS service is too small to offer affordable health insurance and my mood stabilizers cost almost $800 a month.

My boyfriend suggested I start an account here to get things off my chest and into the open.  Apparently he did the same some years ago and it helped him.  I hope it works.
