This description has not been one to change particularly often. Likewise, a human does not change very quickly. However, as the reflection I show you becomes more and more me than I ever intended, I suppose it fitting an addition be made to this description.
As you see pieces of me through this diary, I see pieces of me through my life. I stare at myself in a scratched-up funhouse mirror and wonder why half the time I don't know what's going through my own head. Sadly but truly, oftentimes I find myself sunk in deeper by the influence of my friends, rather than their advice actually being of any help. This is unfortunate, as when I was almost completely a loner, my own advice often worked. I do not know why I stopped listening to myself.
This diary is a reflection of me, though the reflective surface may vary - perhaps one day you'll see me by a mirror, another you may see me through the circular disturbances of raindrops on the water, and occassionally you may even simply see the light reflected off of me. Be aware, however, that whatever light you see me through may be disfigured, for better or for worse, by your own perceptive abilities.
Whether you be friend or foe, I welcome you to join. Play, fight, or simply watch. This is my game, and it won't be slowed down by the weak, or halted by the strong. It won't be forced into hiding by rules, nor will it be crushed by the mightiest army. So, if you do not like this game, drop your sword and your arrows and walk away - forget you ever knew it existed. You cannot destroy an idea, you can only forget it.
These are some of the gladiators and the spectators:
Pixel: At times, the Ultimate Gladiator, at others, the Roman Emperor, but rarely just a face in the crowd. SR: A rose, beautiful in every way. Sri: Psycho Elf Lover (self-appointed title). The Bobs: Stick-figure gladiators. Remote: The one most would like to slay. Kat: Insane candy-bar girl. Pickle (generally Cahill): A carrot-haired girl who apparently likes pickles. Nick: A Linux-loving geek with annoying habits, like randomly turning off your computer while you're trying use it. Craig: A paranoid, Star-Trek-loving, freak (and I say that with the greatest of love ^_^). Others: Gladiators and spectators, like you, who make the games possible.
