My name is Heather and I ammmm...currently blundering my way through my quarterlife-ish crisis. I'm really good at being a whimsical Alaskan. (I should be, I've lived here my whole life! And, y'know, been whimsical.) I am eccentrically charged: always have been, always will be. Hugs are free. Unless you're creepy.
I dabble in a lot of things - mostly taking pictures, writering, sketching(once did a pretty decent doodle on a Denny's napkin with some lipliner), and making nonsensical collages. I have a menagerie of animals that I love more than most people (I'm pretty picky about my people), BUT! if I DO love you, chances are I would totally give you one of my organs without a second thought.
I'm deeply passionate about...well, mostly I'm just deeply passionate. :D! But my most obvious passions are, in no partickaler order: retro '70s wallpaper, cold rainy weather, long drives and roadtrips, nubby tweedy Eames-like furniture straight out the '50s, dairy products, good squeezy hugs, strapping pole-like men (especially ones that appreciate them some thick chik goodness.), justice, creatures(I'm a hardcore animal lover - I have 3 mutts and 2 tuxedo cats currently, and am considering acquiring a goat.), and waiting for love that's worthy.
Personally, I'm holding out for a man who has soul - a thoughtful sort of guy who maybe writes love letters and is always ready to laugh. Someone who has as much passion as I do, a strong sense of justice, and loves books and animals. All the better if he's a bit of a freak. :D!
I'm a big(haha!) advocate of the Body Love Revolution ("size/fat/body acceptance") - fat, skinny, inbetweeny...appreciate what ya got(don't waste time on what you don't), and get on with your life! You can certainly be fat AND healthy, just as you can be skinny AND not anorexic. Ignore people who think you should spend your life dieting. Anyone who cares that much about the way you look isn't worth being around anyway. I believe obsessing over the way you look holds people back from really caring about their health in a proactive way, and keeps many from living their lives at all. Goes against my sense of justice. Y'know?
Vehement non-interests: Hatefulness, Asparagus, Apathy, Materialism, and Jerks.
Anything else you want to know, just ask - I'll likely tell you more than you want to know. :)
