.BREAK MY HEART OR BREAK MY FALL.
"Living this way ain't for the meek. and like a jazz dj you talk me into sleep..." -3eB
"My tongue's the only muscle of my body that works harder than my heart"
"What is that feeling when you're driving away from people and they recede on the plain 'till you see their specks disappearing? - it's the too-huge world vaulting us, and it's goodbye.
But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies."
-Jack Kerouac, On The Road
So - everyone has a little 'about me' section on their front page: i'm a perpetual student - I have my bachelors degrees in english and art history. i'll head back to school soon to get my masters in art curatorship. i'm going to own a gallery or run some amazing museum. you just wait.
Otherwise, I'll be falling in love with my darling boy every day here in ohio for a while. We just got
engaged MARRIED and I couldn't be happier to know that he'll be by my side for the rest of my life. There's something to be said for being in love with your best friend. He is truly the best person I've ever met.
i'm a hopeless romantic and always will be, despite the many broken hearts that have occured
and the many more that are sure to follow. i'm a lover not a fighter, but i'll argue until i win if you start something. i adore music and art - making both as well. i'm a camp counselor because the future of 11 year old girls actually IS important to me. i'm a recovering pessimist, it's a process. i'm working on being a hopeless optimist. love helps- I believe wholly in it.
i also believe in the bob marley philosophy of life: that every little thing's gonna be alright.
I'm not religious and that won't ever change - so leave your gods out of it.
"i don't care about anything. I do care about hearts." - jack kerouac
(I'm pretty sure that there's a kerouac quote for everything.)
i'm an adventurer. following my heart all over the world.
"The king and queen were there, dancing with the people. Talk in the shadows of intrigue. Who cares? Kingdoms rise and fall. Just don't burn the paintings in the Louvre, that's all"
-The Vampire Lestat
