I initially started this diary to keep track of my weight loss rollercoaster but it has evolved into an everyday life/sarcasm station/jumbled mess blog. Consider yourself warned. :)
As for my weight loss history, I joined Weight Watchers on March 28, 2001. In the following 5 years, I lost over 200 lbs. I grew tired of the program and struggled for several years. I recently returned to the WW program with a different mindset and new determination. I'm a fitness chick and the most important thing to me now is remaining healthy and happy. My plan is to remove the extra fluff and continue to raise the bar in my personal fitness goals. Hope you enjoy reading!
Update: I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in the spring of 2012. After much research and a few trusted recommendations, I started my Paleo journey on May 9, 2012 in an effort to lose additional weight and reduce the joint inflammation caused by RA. Go here for details!
Update 2: Return to WW roots...but with a twist! Check it out here!

"Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day; while failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day." -John Rohn
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.”-Mary Anne Radmacher
"Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice in your head that yells "CAN'T", but you don't listen. You just push harder. And then you hear that voice whisper, "can" and you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are." -Unknown
