This is the diary of a just turned twenty-two working mother of two who also goes to college. Yes, I'm a busy person!! And I love it; I hope I will have interesting things to say in my diary for you to read. My life has been pretty damn interesting and busy, though I'm only twenty two. I got married at the age of eighteen, to a man almost twice my age, and we're happy as hell even though some people don't seem to understand how that could possibly be possible. He had two sons, so now so do I, and we've been married for just over four years. I up and joined the Army on a whim several years ago, and though I like it, I have no intention of staying in and making a career out of it. Rather, I've been taking college classes for over a year now, with my goal being to become a teacher when I get out of the military in just over a year and a half. We have two dogs and a cat. This is important, because I'm sure I will talk about them in my diary a lot. I love animals, always have, and particularly love my two dogs, Elmo and Zoey. I've always been a family oriented person, and love to be a homebody most of the time. I hope both my parents and my husband live to be really really old, so I don't have to be alone for a long time in my life. I've pretty much decided that when that point comes, hopefully not before I'm sixty years old, I'll just find some women my age and shack up like the Golden Girls -- pets must be allowed, though!! I think I'm a pretty unique person, who is very silly about some things and very serious about others. I do love to go shopping if I have some company, like my Mom. I am very serious about human rights, and I think I am one of the only people I know who truly doesn't have a prejudice bone in my body about ANYone. I am very disorganized. I can do all the "Army stuff" and yet I'm not really a "hardcore" person at heart. And yet I can be very assertive and take care of business when I need to. I love Christmas. I am a very impatient driver, though I would never say I have "road rage." However I am also usually a very safe driver, and I rarely even speed, although I do make illegal U turns to avoid getting lost or going out of my way sometimes. I have a strong faith in God and heaven, and yet I do not call myself a Christian, nor any other religious label. Those are the basics of me, to scratch the surface. Some people may find me boring or mundane, but I hope most of the people who read my diaries will find them amusing, at least! I have never been able to keep a diary steadfastly, so I doubt I will remember to write everyday. My intention is to at least write several times a week. If I ever talk about something that requires a background brief, I will try to remember to do so. Ciao, all!!
