Lizzie Lott was born in 1878 in Illinois. These are transcripts of her diaries when she was living on a farm between north of the town sqare in Carlinville, Illinois(between present day Cascade Road and the railroad tracks) in the early 1890's. Find out about the basics of farm life. These diaries were likely part of a school project, since most of the entries are during the school year. I plan to post no more than one diary entry a day. Feel free to leave a note. I would be curious to see what you think of this and whether i should continue to add entries.
