On Sunday July 16, 2006, in a mansion off of Parkside Drive, a woman was found tied to a chair, a knife protruding from her chest.
She had been dead for most of the weekend.
Meet The Cast
Jenny Vanderbust (peu d'aile): The murder victim. Pretty, charming, sexy 25 year old blonde who knows how to get what she wants and exploit others. Obsessive compulsive and high maintenance. Playgirl. Manipulative. Unusually bright. Administrative assistant AND girlfriend to Marvin Cale. Great at tennis, enjoys watching birds. Studied English literature during college.
Marvin Cale (big shot): Millionaire and president of Cale Industries, Jenny's boss and sugardaddy. Owns a nice mansion that works particularly well as a murder crime scene. Has a strange fascination with Ancient Egypt and collects Titanic memorabilia. Loves the occasional cigar.
Jane Dow (JavaJane): Formerly Jane Vanderbust, Jenny's older sister. Bears a striking resemblance to her younger sister, aside from her short red hair, glasses, and lower maintenance style. Works as a computer programmer, aspires to be a concert pianist. Has two dogs and a chinchilla. Loves to run in marathons and go hiking. Married to John Dow.
John Dow (feetish29): Husband of Jane Dow. Works as a podiatrist. Enjoys fishing and horse racing. Collects obscure books and enjoys staging historical re-enactments. Covets his electronic gadgets. Generally regards his wife's sister Jenny as spoiled and selfish.
Doris Cale (LipstickCherry): 37 year old woman, former wife of Marvin Cale. She left him after discovering his affair with his administrative assistant Jenny. Has a degree in zoology and works as a consultant for various wildlife preserves. A health nut, except for her chocolate and coffee addictions. Enjoys salsa dancing, skiing, and parasailing.
Brad Van Huzen (Disco Brad): Extremely successful attorney. Will be getting partnership any day now. Has a soft spot for fast cars, motorbikes and gadgets that look cool. Plays squash and hates to lose. Very close to Doris's family.
Cassie Fitch (CassieBabe): 26 year old party girl and best friend of Jenny. Mostly straight with bisexual tendencies, she often hints about getting it on with Jenny. Loves shoes and hats. Recovering bulemic, borderline-alcoholic. Chain-smoker. Recreational drug user. Terrible speller.
Mitch Phillips (Mitch The Rich): Cassie's boyfriend and a loathsome being. Works as a used car salesman and enjoys fast food, preferrably Burger King. Likes tattoos, fast cars, and guns. Played college football. Is a huge Eagles fan. Likes to dominate women.
Lisa Baums (Given To Fly): HR representative at Cale Industries, she was passed up for a promotion in favor of Jenny. Enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, and other various "extreme" sports. Loves to travel, but doesn't get out as much now that she has a three year old daughter to care for. Is fluent in Spanish and likes to garden. When she's drunk, usually refers to Jenny as "that backstabbing bitch".
Sid Jackson (Sid Vicious): Aspiring actor and musician. Works at the local courthouse. Has had a crush on Jenny ever since the third grade. Likes quoting 80s movies and mimicking his favorite stars. Orders Chinese takeout regularly. Spends a lot of time at the gym. Plays handball and is an ace at billiards.
Detective River Rooksby (TheRiverRocks): Never fear, Detective Rooksby is on the case! Loves to cook AND to eat, has a bit of a weight problem. Has a real talent for thinking outside of the box and lives for solving challenging crimes. Enjoys going on cruises and visiting historical sites. Jolly but arrogant.
James Mottson (got the motts): Wanna-be detective and mystery writer. Close personal friend of Detective Rooksby, often assists him with his investigations. Enjoys sailing, waterskiing, and golf. Loves classic movies and has a strange obsession with Grace Kelly. Works at the local bowling alley to pay the bills.
Vana Mircel (vananas): Completely crazy woman. Very unattractive. Enjoys writing poetry about the most bizarre topics. Rants about non-existent conspiracies. Relationship to the murder victim unknown at this time.
Carlos: Works on Marvin Cale's estate as a gardener and does maintenace work. Handsome and strong, Jenny knows him only as "The Pool Boy". Plays the guitar, prefers Spanish ballads. Enjoys watching basketball and bull fights.
