I have a boyfriend who treats me like a queen. I know that he's a gift from God and that I couldn't have met him at a better time. He has helped me through one of the hardest times in my life and has allowed me to live my life according to what I want, not what other people expect from me. He has let me be ME and still sticks around even when my true colors show, and I've never had that before. I don't have to pretend to be someone else when I'm with him, and it's the greatest feeling in the world.

I am incredibly happy with my life and am learning how to appreciate what I've got. After being so unhappy for so long, I feel like I've been given a second chance at life and I am loving every minute of it. My life has changed more in the past year than I ever thought was possible, and it's had its up's and down's, but there is surely joy in the journey and I don't regret one bit of it.

This is my place to vent and record what's going on in my life. I love being able to go back and read my old entries - it's amazing to see what I've learned, how I've changed, and what I've made it through.
