16:For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever Believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

17: For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but, that the world, through HIm might be saved.

These are my 2 favorite Scripture verses; AND I also have many many MORE faves!

But, ever since I was a little girl and learned John 3:16, and 17, I felt they pretty much say it all!!!!!!

Of course, there is a lot more to salvation, too, after one accepts Jesus Christ as his/her/ personal Savior. Then, it's repenting of all one's sins, striving to not sin anymore, which is very hard for us fleshly mortals, and reading, learning from the Bible, Going to church, so we have "the fellowship of the Brethren." Also, so we learn from others whom are wiser and further along on their journies. Church going is NOT mandatory, but, it says in the Bible, "Do NOT forsake the fellowship of the brethren." It's fun, too, and it's your Christian "family," To be united in Christ, is to be untied of sin!

Most importantly, we are NOT to become legalistic, or judgemental, critical or in no way to gossip or talk against others. That is a time to go to prayer and ask God to help us, change US.

God brings MANY blessings and He blesses unexpectedly, too~!!!!! There are also times when God may NOT answer prayer, BUT, in NOT answering with what "we" want, He IS answering that HIS ways are better, HIS timing is perfect and His grace & mercy is sufficient unto each day. HIS mercies are new every morning.

The above are all MY cherished beliefs, practices and MY life to me. God has brought me through SO many things that "I" really botched up or acted stupidly, selfishly, hurtfully, and yet, HE LOVES enough to forgive when we ask Him. I LOVE God, Jesus, & Holy Spirit, because He FIRST loved me!!!
