Prologue:

I've recently been going through a bout of what can only been described as melancholy, that's actually a lie, it could be described as a lot of things, I'm just choosing to call it that. The title of my diary was going to initially be; The Melancholy of Tristan Heath, inspired by the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzamiya, and a newly acquired pen name inspired by my old online alias of Tristan, and a letter addressed to the previous tenant of my flat one Mr Tristan Heath, the diary title bar however was too short and thus was born The Melancholy of Tristan Heat.
