Chapter: Book reviews
One of the most awesome authors
Friday, May 30, 2008

So Laurell K. Hamilton is one of the most awesome authors ever and if you haven't read her DO! She just came out with her 16th Anita Blake series book and of course it was great. And over much to fast. The title is Blood Noir and of course our lovely heroine Anita gets into trouble and then saves the day. She litteraly kicks ass, yeah her. Anyway I wanted to put a couple excerpts from the book in that I really enjoyed.

Sometimes it's not the light in a person that you fall in love with, but the dark. Sometimes it's not the optimist you need, but another pessimist to walk beside you and know, absolutely know, that the sound in the dark is a monster, and it really is as bad as you think. page 296

...It was more like two scared kids huddling in the dark when they knew the monster under the bed wasn't just real, but was holding a grudge. page 303

I would have to say that my favorite is still Incubus Dreams but they are all great and make me wish that she could write faster. But you can't rush greatness. I know that. Anyway.
