So, after nearly a month of being mostly unemployed (I still have my job @ the church, although I haven't had to do much there since it's summer), I am now a full time employee again. I had an interview this morning and was hired (pending a drug screen) after a data-entry assessment. I go in on Tuesday for orientation, then training Wed - Fri. I will be working for Affina, a company that provides companies with customer service operators, which is what I will become. I am way excited. It will be less money than I'm used to making, but the benefit package is similar to Hy-Vee, and I won't have to be on my feet, nor work more than 40 hours/week. Add to that, my hours will never start before 7am nor end after 9pm. Pretty sweet if you ask me. Now all that's left is to find a place (preferably a house with at least 3 bedrooms) closer to work (I'm currently an hour away). Kevin & I will be moving in together. One of his friends offered to let us move into his house with him, which is 15 min closer, and that's still an option, but I'd kinda prefer to have us be on our own. About 4 years down the line, Kevin is planning to go back to court to see if he can get (at least majority) custody of his son. It would be nice if we could have a place and be settled before that.

And on that note, as you can guess, things are still going very well between the two of us. As stoked as I am about having a job again, I know it's gonna be tough, cuz I'm used to seeing Kevin most of every day and sleeping with him every night. He's currently talking about getting a job where his friend works, which would be good income-wise, but it's a 3rd shift position, so he would be getting home just as I'm leaving every morning, and we'd get to see each other 2 hours tops between when I get home and he goes in. So I dunno, maybe he can start with 3rd shift to get his foot in the door and maybe somewhere down the line there will be an opportunity to get 1st or 2nd shift.
