Within the past 3 weeks I have been to the hospital to visit my father. I will make it short. He was rushed to the hospital a few weeks ago for a sharp pain in his stomach. They ran a few test, admitted him, gave him some IV's and meds. Then two days later his doctor came in to his room along with my Mother, my brother John, and Glenn and I. In a matter of seconds the words came out of her mouth that I was not expecting. She the colon surgeon stated my father has a Tumor in his colon and it very large and 99% its Cancer. We all sat there in silence and were stunned. She answer all our questions and left. The were going to schedule surgery a few days later. However, we were sidelined because twelve years ago my father had by-pass heart surgery. He needed to undergo a stress test to see if he can with stand the colon surgery. Long story short again, he had a few block arteries. So they had to place some stents into his heart for the blood in his arteries to flow better. Since having this procedure he will need to wait a few week until June 26th so they can operate on his colon and take out the tumor. These few weeks, going back in forth to the hospital have been stressful to say the least. So far so good my father is home presently and is no pain. Being the age of 72 he looks great too.
This week my other older brother, Mike was rushed to the hospital for having two seizures. He never had them before and it was very frightening to hear about it. He now is at home resting and has to take medication several times a day to replenish his body of sodium that he lacks. Unfortunately he can no longer drive a vehicle for 6 months. He was very upset about that. And I would be too!
So there you have it, This month is almost gone and I have spent most of it at the hospital with my family. This has shown me the power of prayer does truly work. But you must have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ to see you through and he will carry you when your down.
Have a Great Wonderful Holiday Weekend...
