Just a quick note (via my brother again) to let you know I'm still alive - thought it was touch-and-go for a while.  I just got out of ICU today, and the prognosis is good.  There are things I think I understand better about the Passion now - especially how important it was to Jesus for his Mom to be with him every step of the way.  Mine has been an angel through all this, and her near-constant presence makes everything brighter. (Her name is also Mary, and I see her more and more as a living ikon.)
