David Haye beats Dereck Chisora with fifth-round stoppage
David Haye won his heavyweight grudge match against Dereck Chisora with a fifth-round stoppage, and then set his sights on world champion Vitali Klitschko.
An entertaining contest at a rain-hit Upton Park came to an end after Haye floored Chisora with a stunning left hook.
David Haye knocked down Dereck Chisora twice in the fifth round (PA)
He beat the count and bravely tried to fight on, but was knocked down again seconds later by a left and the referee stepped in to halt the action.Haye was ecstatic with his performance on his return to the ring, a year after his defeat to Wladimir Klitschko, and declared 'the Hayemaker is back'. The former world champion is now targeting a version of the title and wants to take on Vitali Klitschko, the WBC belt holder who beat Chisora on points in February. 'I've sent out a very scary message,' said Haye. 'I'll be surprised if Vitali Klitschko wants to fight me after that. He will no doubt try to fight some chump and then retire to be a politician.' Haye had some words of encouragement for Chisora and there was no sign of the animosity that prompted their infamous press conference brawl in Munich in February.'I can tell you Chisora has one of the best chins I've hit. I was hitting him with shots that would normally put people away but he kept coming,' he said. 'We put our lives on the line in there but credit to Dereck Chisora. I believe he will go on to great things.' Former British champion Chisora congratulated the victor and promised to honour his pledge to donate £20,000 to charity if Haye knocked him out. 'That was a great fight. I got caught, I don't know what with, but it was a great shot,' Chisora said. 'This is boxing - there has to be one winner, I will come back.'

Ten-minute op that freezes tumours 'to revolutionise breast cancer treatment' A revolutionary ten-minute operation using an ice could change breast cancer treatment forever. Read more: http://www.metro.co.uk/news/904562-ten-minute-op-that-freezes-tumours-to-revolutionise-breast-cancer-treatment
The IceSense3 had previously only been used on benign tumours but now doctors want to use the minimally invasive surgery on cancer patients. The operation involves inserting a pencil-sized probe into the tumour and blasting it with liquid nitrogen, which freezes and kills the cancer and the dead cells are absorbed into the body. As it is conducted under local anaesthetic, patients can go home minutes after the procedure and will have no horrible scarring or disfigurement. Professor Kefah Mokbel of London’s St George’s Hospital, who will lead the British trial said: ‘Either freezing the tumour, or heating it with a laser, is going to revolutionise the way we treat early breast cancer in the next few years. ‘You will pop into outpatients and it will be gone a few minutes after you’ve seen the doctor. We do 28,000 lumpectomies each year in the UK. It will represent an enormous saving of time and money for the NHS.’
I can't get this song out of my head for some reason.....
