I'm not really a big baseball fan, but everyone at my school is, so it was kinda hard to not watch the games. I never really expected the Red Sox to win, but damn campus was mad happy when they did! Even though we're sophomores, we went over to the quad because that's where all the stuff goes down. We got there around 12ish when the game was over, and there were TONS of people, probably like 300 or so. Right after the game was over we started hearing cheers from the quad. It was CRAZY, to put it mildly. Someone actually set off fireworks, they were burning Yankees shirts, people were screaming tons of different chants (f*** the Yankees, Jeter swallows, let's go Red Sox, who's your daddy)...just straight up madness. I was drunk too, so it made it soooooooooo much better! There were cops all over the place videotaping, it's a riot control thing I guess (so in case something happens, they have it all on tape.) We were out there for like an hour. Then someone decided they were going to open the fire extinguisher in Franklin, so then the fire trucks showed up with tons of cops. So we were taking pictures in front of the fire trucks and stuff haha. Then me, Tara, Lindsey, and Danielle decided to go back and just chill for awhile.  I finally got back to bed at like 2am.  What a night! Can't wait to get my pictures back! GO RED SOX!
