short trip 12/2/2002

The four-days trip in Miami and Key West was wonderful. It's a pity that i didn't drive on the highway but all your choices will have an opportunity cost. Here's what happened when someone was driving and I was sitting next to the driver's seat. We drove from Key West to Ft Lauderdale after seeing the sunset ceremony, it was so dark... the Altantic Ocean is just on our right hand side and the Gulf of Mexico is just on our left hand side... it was just separated by one 7-mile island-to-island bridge. When I felt that it's a pity that i can't take a picture with the ocean which I used to see them on the map in the past, I lift my head up.... Waaaaaaaooooooooohhh... the stars in the sky was falling down and hit us!!! That showed once again, our planet in a sphere... the stars filled up the whole ozone layer with big, small, bright, dimmed, blue, red, yellow... stars!!!! If I drove at that time, I won't be able to see such a marvellous scene... The feeling was really weird, it felt like i was drunk...

Besides the stars, the sunset ceremony was really worth to see too, when you found some funny person sitting besides you and yelled to the sun, asked her to come back ?!?!?! Diving is a very good choice in Miami beaches and the Keys Island but the cold front, which brought freezing dew point and chilly winds to the place, kicked us out from water sport.

To sum up, this trip is great but too short. If the thanksgiving holiday is longer.... >.<

cool ......

really cool...

red, blue, bright, dim stars..... the feeling is:

you are just a small person in a small world on a small planet in a small galaxy of the universe..... there is really nothing more important for you to do than enjoying one's own life.
