My little brother John leaves tomorrow for Iraq.  He is in the marines and will be there for 7-14 months.  Hopefully closer to 7.  While he is gone, I've decided to keep notebook journals for him and send them to him while he is there so he can have a little bit of home with him.  I will keep him updated on each day, whether it's just that I'm tired, or I will draw some doodles for him.  I figure I could get some started and then send them in volumes, each one dated.  You know me, I can babble on for hours about nothing.  (I like to talk)  I think I might make this part of this years goals to reach.  I try to keep journals for myself but end up losing interest, or I think nothing too exciting is happening so I don't write.  Well, now I have a new purpose and this will drive me to do my best.  Even on a boring day.  Also for those of you who read this, please keep him in your prayers and thoughts for me and my family.  God Bless you Sgt.
