Holy fucking last month and a half.

It started April 15, when I saw Stellar Revival and Theory of a Deadman in Atlanta. My event on April 21 was canceled due to weather, but every. weekend. since. I have been doing... something relatively crazy. And I DID IT. I survived. I had a blast. I will never be the same again.

Seriously, I have some major scars. They itch. :D

April 15: Atlanta shows: Stellar Revival, Pop Evil, Theory of a Deadman
April 21: (canceled Animals Tailgate)
April 27: Rockfest in South Carolina: Art of Dying, Trivium, Adelitas Way, Lacuna Coil, Halestorm, Sevendust
May 4-6: Carolina Rebellion in North Carolina: Paper Tongues, Adelitas Way, Halestorm, RED, Slash, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Korn, Evanescence, and Shinedown
May 11: 11/11/11 six-month reunion in Atlanta
May 19: Warrior Dash in Mountain City, GA
May 24-29: Lauren and David's wedding in Sarasota, FL, including two nights in Panama City and a crashed party in Tallahassee.

Over 3000 miles, 2200 logged in my car by me. 19 bands in 3 events. Close to 150 Facebook messages. Three parties. Two nights camping in North Carolina. One cheap motel room off I-26. One obstacle 5k in the Appalachian mountains. One tropical storm driven through. One week of antibiotics for the nasty scratches on my leg ("wombat wounds"). One day at the beach. One wedding. One day of Oregon Trail-level exhaustion. One baby born to a friend; another friend's baby's death. One de facto boyfriend.


...Did all that really just happen?! ...?!?!?!?

I'm kind of speechless. Wow.



Coming up, most dates tentative:

June 11 weekend: Kacy's coming up for some Braves-Yankees, and a job interview in DC (flying out of ATL)
June sometime: Day trip to Great Smokey Mountain National Park with my mom and a dog or three, including a Talk; applying for research assistant jobs in DC; looking up apartments in DC for Kacy and I

July 18: Braves-Giants game and young professional networking night
July sometime: moving away from Georgia
July 28: Prison Break Mud Run?

August 16: Braves-someone for Chipper Jones night
August or September sometime: Carnival of Madness tour in Mississippi; Uproar tour somewhere in the southeast?

September 13: Nightwish in Atlanta

End of September-Early October sometime: Oktoberfest in Germany with aforementioned de facto boyfriend and a bunch of his people.



Yeah. You read that right.



I pretty much don't have any words left. Just yeah, I did/will do that.
