First off....Sunday nights at work are always very slow. Throughout the whole night, I had four tables. So....while the meeting was being given to us about all the specials...Doug points at Deanna and asks her to take out her eyebrow ring. She starts saying it wasnt fair because Tanya got to keep her nose ring in and Nikki her tongue. Doug said it was fine for today but Rick was going to make the final call. We started getting into the nail polish issue(it chips off), the cups, the earrings. Let me stop at this point. I completely forgot about these earrings I had in...the were hearts but a little long. Doug stops talking to us...looks at me and says "Katie, you above all others, should know better". I started to laugh but he is right. I know all the health regulations from working in the kitchen. The others don't know any of them. He then started to ask me some health questions...such as "Is mousse legal?"....Im not exactly sure on that one. I know that hairspray isnt. I would think mousse was also a no because it is flammable. He pointed out a little frizz on my head. I started to tell him how that wasnt my fault. Its going to be in effect soon. Everyone--dishwashers,cooks, servers, hosts...are all going to have to wear hairnets...Its a new health regulation. Its for all restaurants. Actually, there are several people fighting against that...so it might not come out. BUt....it may. Today at work....I was slammed for a bit. Had 9 L.A.'s to make plus about 10 more things...and its just me on that end during the day because Cabello doesnt know how to sautee. To top it off, I had to help Cabello out a lot because he was slow today...I dont like when he runs the grill. He is a better broiler man. He asked me to marry him again. Alfredo's birthday is Saturday and he is having a party....he told me that I cant come because he doesnt want anyone looking at me....unless he is standing in front. He takes an onion ring, gets on one knee, and tells me he doesnt have a ring on him this moment. He asked me to marry him again...(MY RING WAS AN ONION,LOL). It was cute though. Clever. My mom was teasing me "I now pronounce you hamburger and onion ring" Going to the movies tonight with Mark to see "A lot like love". Supposed to be great...everyone keeps calling me to tell me to have fun....what losers....ha. TOMMOROW=HOUSE.....SO EXCITED. Nanie thought it was Tuesday today....she was bummed to find out it isnt going to be on tonight. 24 is though--Ryan and Amy are obsessed with that show. Only time I watch it is with them..Must go now Kates
