The story so far... Saturday, May 23, 2009

So, I realize that up until yesterday I had been a non-existent person for almost a year.

Yeah, I know, same old story, right? ;-)

So, to bring you up to speed on the story of my life right now...

Paul and I moved to a new apartment -- in Orem as opposed to Provo (ooooo, seriously major move *chuckles*) and we love it. Since I now run my OWN photography business, I am much more free to live my own life a little and do things my own way. I have recently taken a number of fabulous photography trips -- my favorite being fall of last year going to Oregon (although there was a FRIGHTFUL experience which very nearly cost me my life, but I got out of it okay).

And my photography is giving me some fun experiences. This year, I was contracted as the official DanceSport photographer here in the area and got to cover the U.S. Amateur Nationals! My personal favorites can be found here:

I did a lot of business from that and even had fifty photos published in Dance Beat magazine (which was being distributed at the famous Blackpool competition in England, in addition to going to its subscribers).

My baby sister is getting married this summer! (Guess who her photographer is. *wink*) I can't wait to take her pictures, she is probably THE most photogenic person alive. I'll be flying out to North Carolina to do her bridals in June or July, and then again in August for the wedding -- which will actually be at the Washington D.C. temple (haven't yet done a wedding in D.C. so I'm seriously looking forward to that!)

I think that's all the biggest current-ish news.

So life is good. :-)

Hey, I know where Orem and Provo are. That's where my inlaws live. I'm actually going to be up at the BYU family camp in August for a family reunion.

Good for you, going for your dream. Your photos are wonderful. [E. Stoddard]

Yay, glad things are going well for you (for the most part!). I'm glad you are taking more wedding pictures, because I'm still considering having you take my future wedding pictures (whenever that will happen! lol). But I'm kind of picky on photos, so I wanted to browse the ones you've done for ideas on what I would like. :) By the way, have you done any other weddings yet? [Spiritual Seeker] 5/24/2009 12:07:03 AM
RYN: Sorry! lol. Way back when I first saw your website, I thought there was only one wedding. I guess it's been a while since I gave it a good look. haha. So... I'm going to go look now. [Spiritual Seeker] 5/24/2009 1:12:55 AM
