Well little Ava is 4 days old. We had our last midwife at home visit. She was very happy with how healthy Ava is. She is pink, with no signs of jaundice at all and very content and happy after feeding. She lost a little bit of weight but, she said that is very normal and she's happy with her weight. Breastfeeding is going great! My supply is going into overdrive. Because I weaned Tyler only 2 months ago, my body is a bit confused I think. I have these massive rock hard things attached to me, it looks peculiar because I am so small.

Ava is feeding every 2 - 3 hours during the day. Last night I had good sleeps! Her last feed was at 10:15pm, then she woke next at 2:30am, and she grizzled on and off until the next feed at about 4am. After that feed I just let her sleep next to me it seemed she didn't want to be lonely in the Bassinette, she wanted to be snuggled, and I was right, she slept until 8:30am! I am getting such a better sleep than when I was pregnant. It is so nice.

The other kids adore her, especially Ashley! She just LOVES her. Jayden loves her, but he was more interested in Ben 10 this morning on TV! That's ok, babies aren't really a big interest for boys usually. But he loves to hold her and talk to her. He was picked up by his friend and his Dad (our Minister for our church) and he prayed for us and Ashley talked to him about being baptised!
