Only just over a month to Spring, though Spring here can be pretty cold! This morning the ground is covered with a really thick frost and it's not forecast to rise above 4C all the week, but at least rain or snow are not forecast! I went to the gym and just as I was leaving Jean came along. She said that she hadn't been for a few days as she had felt so tired and her bones were aching. I hope that she's ok as she worries me the way that she burns off calories when she's already so thin! I phoned Irene when I came out as she had mentioned coming over here today, but we'd not made definite arrangements. She was ill as well! She said that she kept having really bad migraines and she thinks it's due to a neck problem. We're all getting old!! I think that I'm fairly healthy though. I haven't had a cold for ages and my hormonal migraines are getting less and less, and when they do come they are a lot mlider than they used to be. I only really have two things wrong with me. I have osteoarthritis and ache in a lot of places including my feet and shoulder, but not bad enough for painkillers, and I have rhinitis which causes a permanently blocked nose. I've had that all of my life though practically. I'm trying my best to eat healthily, but I get such hunger pains! I made pork with rice noodles and broccoli, red peppers, lemon grass etc for dinner, and ate quite a lot, but when I went to bed all I wanted to do was to eat chocolate! I couldn't give in as there wasn't any in the house (I'd forgotten about that big Toblerone!) so I just kept eating sunflower and pumpkin seeds which mentally didn't do anything for me at all! Why is it that the things that are the unhealthiest are always the things that taste the nicest? Jean has osteoporosis and I've suggested to her that she eats sesame seeds as I read recently that they have more calcium in them than dairy foods. I put a spoonful on my porridge in the morning! I had a message from Areasha's Alex saying that she was going to come over to get a piece of the cake that Roz made! I managed to put her off from coming over yesterday as by the time that I'd seen the message it was quite late. If she was mine I wouldn't want her cycling here. The roads are very busy from Craigshill to here, it's frosty, and it gets dark early. She messaged back saying that she would come the next day and take a short cut through the woods. Even worse! A twelve year old girl on her own should not be going through woods! She probably won't come in the end. Areasha has obviously been over at Mark's a fair bit as Steffan didn't know where everybody was! class="live_291947917528175_131325686911214 commentable_item autoexpand_mode" method="post" action="/ajax/ufi/modify.php" rel="async" data-live="{"seq":3315913}">
David was patiently doing Alex's homework with her. He had the cards from "Pairs" and was writing her tables on them and they were getting the homework done. Then her sister, Jenna came for her before they'd finished. David asked Alex when her homework had to be in, and she said that it didn't have to be in until Thursday, but she liked to hand it in the next day. Jenna said that she always panicked if she didn't get it over with on the Monday night and that she was being calm doing her homework with David, but when she did it at home it ended up in tantrums! I told Jenna to try and persuade her to leave it and do it here again the next day, but Jenna said that she would probably make too much fuss about it. Sandra has applied for her to go to Cedarbank school which is for children with learning difficulties, but doesn't know if she'll get in yet as there are only so many places. I hope that she does, as she's not going to be able to cope at a normal secondary school. Nothing else to say!
