Not much to write as I've done nothing!

Rain as usual! Roz is having a barbecue for her birthday on Saturday and the rain is forecast to continue. I don't know how they'll manage to get about twenty people into that tiny flat. It's not even warm. Well I don't think that 12C (53F) is particularly warm for the height of Summer!

I went to the gym, tidied the house and read the rest of the second Fifty Shades book. I found it better than the first as there was a slight story line, but still wasn't overly impressed. I just skimmed a lot of the sex scenes, not because I'm a prude, but because I found them quite boring to read!

Roz is halfway through the first book and is also finding some things irritating, like the way that she keeps on talking about her "inner goddess".

Anyway, I'll read the third book then go back to my crime novels!

David finally finished making Roz's bird table and gave it to her on Saturday. She wasn't pleased though, as she was expecting to see lots of little birds on it and it's been taken over by squirrels and magpies! I told her that squirrels were cute, but then my brother sent a video clip of a squirrel viciously attacking a person!

The gerbils have been misbehaving! Although they've got other things in their cage that they can bite, they've decided to destroy their plastic food dish! Every morning when I get up I find it lying upside down in the sawdust! I tried tying it to the bars, but that didn't work either. They're lovely little animals though!

The airing cupboard door keeps locking itself for some reason. I can't get in there to get my gym clothes and David is still sleeping!!

Hopefully he'll be up by the time that I've eaten my breakfast, as the car has to be taken to the garage to have a small job done on it.
