It's absolutely pouring with rain AGAIN! I've never known a Summer like this before! I went to the gym yesterday. I've been going just about every day and burning off over five hundred calories each time, but when I come back I'm so fed up of being stuck in the house because of the weather that I eat far too much, so I'm not losing any weight at all! I was particularly fed up yesterday so I told David mid afternoon (he was doing woodwork in the garage) that I was going to Livingston just to get out of the house for a while. I don't know why, but he decided to come with me. David usually hates shops! I think he needs some new clothes though, and wanted to look at them in TK Maxx. David is so predictable with clothes! Just about all of his work shirts are plain blue. At home he wears blue jeans and always a check shirt with a dark blue jumper. I encouraged him to look at shirts that hadn't got little squares on them, but he's very set in his ways. He never got anything anyway! I told him that I was going to go to the rest of the shopping centre, and he tagged along for some reason. At 5 pm he said that he was going home. I said that I was staying for a bit longer. Eventually I caught the bus home. While I was on the bus he phoned to say that he'd gone back to Asda for a few things so I could get a lift home. Too late! As I got off the bus (ten minutes walk from the bus stop to home) he went past me in the car without seeing me! He's decided not to go to his parents house and we're supposed to be going to Glasgow today. He said that he'd ring up Mark to see if he wanted to go and bring Areasha and Amellia, but Mark will definitely answer for Areasha and say no! Not that there will be much to do if the rain keeps up like this. David L phoned last night about the guinea pigs. He said he'll come round with them late afternoon tomorrow. He said that if it's dry (some hope!) they will stay in the run on the grass all day, otherwise in the hutch. He hinted about bringing the smaller hutch that stays in the house as he'll have to take the big hutch apart, but I really can't have guinea pigs in the living room as well as gerbils, there just isn't the room, and I haven't got a utility room. I'll maybe phone them today and ask if it would be easier if they left them in their garden and I went over every day to see to them. It's only fifteen minutes walk. Viv texted and asked me if I would go over to her house a couple of times next week and help her paint, as she's moving to Edinburgh in a couple of months and wants the house to look fresh for the woman she's doing a swap with. She's putting Sienna-Jo in nursery while she paints. Poor Viv gets in such a state about everything! I noticed that on the last open diary entry that somebody had reported the entry where the lad said he was going to commit suicide, and said that they ought to get the police over. I don't think he'll have done it though. TessaJ said that she thought that he was too fond of his cats to do it, but although he acts as though he loves them all the time, some time ago one of his cats bit him, and he drove a long way and dumped the cat on the road side. The cat made her own way back to him. He had a Mark/Areasha type relationship with his ex, but now she won't go back to him. I don't think he committed suicide though! I got to the gym slightly early yesterday and while I was waiting for the doors to open a man came up and was waiting as well. We got talking and he asked me where I was from originally. I told him Wolverhampton and it seemed as though he was copying my accent. I thought that he was just trying to be funny, but he said that he was from Wolverhampton as well! I've been here thirty five years, and people can still tell the area that I come from! He'd only been here for four years! Time for breakfast, then gym and maybe Glasgow later!
