How do you know if you've got memory loss? Sunday, April 13, 2008

Sooo sleepy.

Puppy has been so well behaved over the weekend, he slept right through on Friday and Saturday nights but last night he was awake from 1am and so were we. I don’t know what it was, maybe we didn’t wear him out enough last night, but we were out so we couldn’t really. I was getting so frustrated with him though, because I was exhausted and had to get up early for work and nothing would settle him. I guess it was just him missing out on a big walk before bed time that kept him awake most of the night. Note to self, go for a loooooooong walk tonight!

We went to Hogs Breath for dinner and met up with Mum, Pat, his sister, my brothers and Jodie, and went and saw Carl Barron. It was hi-larious. He is one of my favourite 3 comedians – alongside Jimeoin and Will Anderson.
Mum was howling the whole time with tears pouring down her face

On Saturday we did some grocery shopping and took Jack to the park for a while. Then we came home and got ready for my twin Auntie’s 40th party at Binara. It was a good night, they did some funny speeches, my straight aunty in particular saying how they had been through everything together, they just have a mid life crisis and menopause to go, although Ange has already been through menopause, by that she meant her pause on men (Ange is a lesbian) which was hilarious, everyone lost it

We had a dance – Mum demanded the DJ play the YMCA.
I drank 4 Smirnoff blacks and a cosmopolitan which really isn’t much, but we hadn’t eaten that much all day and they only had nibblies at the party so I was really quite drunk by the time we left at midnight
We took my brothers back to our place because Mum and Pat wanted to stay out longer. I had to try so hard not to throw up all over my little brother in the taxi and I couldn’t put 2 words together. I was slurring everything and Thomas had no idea what I was trying to say – neither did I.
I don’t remember getting home but I do know I spent the next hour with my head in the toilet! I definitely felt better afterwards. Once the room had finally stopped spinning I went back to bed and passed out.

I was feeling pretty shady yesterday but by the time we got to Hogs Breath I was starving so I ordered one of their huge prime ribs and scoffed the lot. Yummmmm.

I’m having a sickie tomorrow, because I have induction at the Lakes for my second job and I think its easier to just not come in at all rather than having to ask to leave early, again. I’m doing my best to look ‘under the weather’ so I think I’ll go for an ear infection or something caused by the cool weather.
We are off to Melbourne on Friday morning for one of our friends wedding. It should be a nice weekend, although Clint flies back to Canberra on Saturday morning and I stay there to work for Sportsbet and come back on Sunday afternoon. Clint flies out to France on Sunday morning for 2 weeks so I will be alllllll on my ooooown for 2 whole weeks. Perfect opportunity to go to the gym after work.
Okiedokie, best be off. I have to get some work done if i'm to have a sickie tomorrow!

poor puppy was probably just freaking out that he was left alone and wanted the attention, that and missing the walk. i'm glad he's behaving though, unlike rob's sister's stupid dog who still pees inside at 6 months old! (not her fault, katharine doesn't take her outside and Bella has no option but to go inside and by the time somebody notices we can't tell her off)
