song of the moment: in this diary by the ataris since it's the end of summer =(, i jus felt like writing down everything i can remember doing this summer cuz it was probably the most fun and eventful summer i've ever had. but it was still over too soon =(. 1)[cruise to mexico] that was seriously one of the best weeks of my life. it was sooooo much fun. it was jus me, heather, andrew, hannah, alaina, jared, steve, and eric ;-). i was away from my family basically the whole time and it was like we were in our own lil world. i still remember some of it like it was yesterday. it was a blast hangin out with a new group of people in a new place (with free food =D) and i'll never forget it. 2)[4th of july party] that was a blast! lol it was me, amy, cass, sarah, karla, brooke, gabby, kevin, elli, and tyler. i actually hosted a party! haha and amy co-hosted lol. i loved sittin up on the roof watchin fireworks from like 3 places and the fire in someone's backyard! lol. that was great. we should carry on the tradition next year ;-). 3)[missouri] hehe what's in missouri? not much...jus my family. but it was really cool. it was like my whole dad's side of the family and i hadn't seen these people in a hella long time and we stayed in a hella nice hotel/cabin place and went tubing and jet skiing and to Silver Dollar City theme park and mini golfing and go-kart racing. haha im the go-kart racing champ. we also went to Dunkin Donuts at midnight and played apples to apples and that game where u read something on a card that's supposed to sound like a famous phrase. "we shower neighbor horn!" lmao. i didnt expect that to be much fun, but it was. 4)[tyler's party] that was really cool too. im glad he invited me! lol. and i think it was worth the $180 to take an earlier flight home from missouri. lol i feel bad about that.... but anyways, the party was fun. the girls mostly jus sat and talked but i got sarah to go play basketball with me for a lil bit lol. and then we asked tyler's mom if we could sleep over...lol i dunno if she likes me now... 5)[stanford soccer camp] well it was cool cuz i got to know a few of my teammates better, but overall, the camp pretty much sucked. cuz i was really bad cuz i hadnt played in like 4 months and i was really considering quitting. and the camp was the BEST last year, so it didnt live up to expectations this year. but fyi, i didnt quit! and i love soccer again, even though i'm takin a break to do tennis. 6)[misha's going away party] that was fun too! i got to meet some cool new people from Northgate and we got together again for bowling (even though i never actually bowled...and i didnt even keep the socks! LoL) but we should have a party like that again...and i can show off some more of my soccer skills haha 7)[goin to waterworld with sarah] hehe i only went to waterworld once this summer. im glad i decided not to buy a season pass. but that trip was really fun, and me n sarah met lester, maurice, and lee. maurice and lee were cute! haha. and we went down cliffhanger and didnt wimp out! lol. too bad sarah deleted lester's number! lol o well...
8)[2 trips to San Francisco] the first time was with me, amy, cass, and becca. that was really fun. it was my first time shoppin in union square! fun stuff. and eatin at the cheesecake factory was cool. 9)[trip to UCSB with cass n kar] i loooooooooooooooove santa barbara! i love the beach! that trip was really short, but really cool. that is the best place. now i have all this UCSB junk lol. but i like it. 10)[trip to tahoe with laura n ny] that was great. i hadn't seen laura in the longest time and i really missed her. we got to watch Finding Nemo, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and Terminator 3 in the car. then we had a huge whipped cream fight with laura's lil brother and his friend. the next day we went white water rafting and hit literally like every rock, log, and bridge in the river! hahaha. hella fun. 11)[countless trips to downtown PH] dude, what would we do without downtown? lol. i probably spent so much time there, doing basically nothing...except sitting in albertson's ("the hangout") and eatin donuts lol! good times. 12)[my 12-year-old cousin from colorado stayin with us for a week] umm yeah, she started out stayin in my room, but she ended up sleepin in my brothers' room so she could watch tv or play video games late at night cuz i had to sleep. she was cool, i guess. we never really did anything together. it made me appreciate having my own room lol. and i think that's basically my summer. notice there wasnt much time for homework? lol thats what i've been doin all today and yesterday and im not even halfway through =/. well, gotta get back to work. school starts in 3 days! ahhhh -Jaymi- P.S. i gave up on fixin my cool entry layout for the moment. i'm havin technical difficulties. please stand by. lol ima dork. P.S.S. (or is it P.P.S.?) i finished my driver's ed online!! yay! i got all the answers right! if anyone else wants to take their classes online and be able to take them at home at any time and not have to go to a boring school all day, jus ask me about it. i get $5 for every person i get to take the course online =D. hehe. anyways, now i gotta wait for them to send me my certificate thing and then i take it to the DMV to apply for my permit. then i guess i'll take a driving class with an instructor. i think im gonna go over to my dad's house and ask him if i can practice driving...;-)
