Avery has been acting up and doing extreme things he normally never would do. My MIL said that it is because he is bored and I need to get him out of the house more, but it sucks because there are few toddler things around where I live. There is nothing in the afternoons and on the weekends, it is so frustrating. Chad is on mandatory over-time for the past month and ½ and will be for at least the next two weeks, he is working 48-60hrs a week. So I have no help and I think part of the problem is Avery misses/needs his dad’s attention. When Chad gets home he is so crabby and freaks out on Avery for everything. Yesterday Avery was begging me to go to the playground but it is 9 degrees out so I said no, we would freeze. I wish there was more to do around here I need to find some mom friends. Upon until all this started I had been really considering home-schooling and looking in to things, but now I think this is a sign that it would not  work. Ugh the older I get the more I hate winter!

 *We did make it to the library this morning so Avery could play with the trains and get some new books. Then this afternoon we played marching band, so hopefully that will tire him out.
