So I've officially accepted the General Medicine I Patient Care Tech job at Children's.  My last day in HR will be 12/3 and I start the new job on 12/7.  Let me just say....WOOT!!!!!!

There was some hassle with the HR Ops Manager who was trying to stiff me on my pay and wanted to drop me down to starting pay for a Tech even though there's a policy about what it should be as a transfer, which is much more.  Well, he's a jerk anyway so I'm not really surprised.  In the end though I got what I wanted all thanks to my awesome boss who went head to head over this with him.  In any case, only 9 days left!!!!

School is still kicking my butt at the moment, but I feel better now that I'm going to have much more time to study very very soon once I drop to part-time.  And thank god too, cause I was really tired of getting all these B's.  I also haven't felt like I've gotten any sleep lately...every day I feel like a zombie walking around trying to get done all these things I need to do, all with a smile on my face.  It's a wonder I'm even able to function at all.  Thank god Max is so patient, cause I'm sure I haven't really been much of a girlfriend to him lately.  Really, I'm trying though, and that's about all I can do right now.

Ugh.  I'm just so exhausted.  THANK GOD I have Thanksgiving break coming up next week!  I haven't been able to sleep late for like two months and I am really looking forward to it!!!
