Does anyone have any tips on conducting an out-of-state job search? Or even a long-distance job search but not necessarily out of state? Is it better to just move to a new area and hope for the best? Or can you just submit resumes/applications/cover letters and hope for the best?

Let's just say the job market around here is beginning to frustrate me.
