TAP that..... 5/8/2005

I have to say that being at the TAP initiation the other night was one of the strangest feelings I have had in a while.  Besides, Randy seeming to be hitting on me from time to time.  It was a very surreal experience.  I know that I graduated and my life has gone on, but for a few short hours I missed EVERYTHING from college.  I think for a moment I might have missed Laura even.  It was so great to see Kelley.  I miss that woman like no one's business.  I spent 4 years going to classes with her, doing shows, and just hanging out.  It's not that I didn't do that with anyone else, but she was going through it all at the exact same time as me.  I walked across campus with her, Ryan, Michelle, and Randy that night and realized we aren't different.  We all want to be happy and we let one issue seperate us all.  I'm not saying that Micheal wasn't a good reason to dislike certain people.  I regret not talking to people about what was going on, getting to know them and how they really feel about what happened.  I can't change the past, but at least I can learn from it.  *sigh* I went to college for an education and I'm still learning lessons a year later.  Hey, maybe FC was good for something other then being the place that I met my best friends.

I'd say so. :-) And I know that many of you were close with Michael and took with you the things he taught you. Even if it doesn't settle well with some, those of us who didn't work much (or well) with Michael are taking some very valuable lessons from here taught by other (good) professors as well.

We all learn, and we all make mistakes. It's great because...well, that's the one thing we all  [Mandellla]

get to except about each other. Nobody is exempt.

I hope you're well.  [Mandellla]

I agree with the fact that we all need to get along.

I disagree with the fact that FC still has good professors. I've worked with Paul, who is at times a hack, and worked with Darrell, who is always horrid, and the new guy, well... from what I heard he sucks, but that's hearsay. But you can't go back and change the past. We all have to move on. [swe4life]

My opinion and nothing more: FC has never had stellar theater professors. Michael was fun and easy, Paul's effecient and nice, Darrell's 'creative' and snobbish, and Robin is a pompus a*s who is verbally abusive to students. None of them were particulary wonderful. That's why they were at a theater program that was as equally mediocre. Students identify best with some over others, whatever works [mel-o-drama] 5/10/2005 3:18:16 PM
