I survived another awesome weekend at the river. I was tired and sore and hungover but hell, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Sometimes weekends at the "Palacios Palace" are classic. It's so redneck and crazy and fun that my friends and I have been talking for a year or more about how cool it would be to have someone record us and try to get a show on television. With shows like "Swamp People" and "Hillbilly Handfishin'", we figure the market is ripe for "River Girls". We mostly just talk about it but this last weekend we decided to at least record a few of our antics on our cell phones. Maybe eventually we'll get a decent camcorder but these videos from our phones didn't come out all that bad.



We do this sort of stuff all the time at the river. Boredom and beer makes for some fairly innovative ideas and we are always up to the challenge!

It's only a matter of time now! I'm probably enjoying my last few days in this life of obscurity. Soon 'River Girls' will be so popular I'll have to wear sunglasses to the Kroger and hire body guards. We'll have sponsors and a dedicated team of video and sound specialists! My fat ass will be plastered all over "The Star" and "The Globe" and celebrity commentators will bad mouth me about how I should lose weight.
