Gently awakened by the loud yawn of Sugar Plum's pooch Sierra.  The black lab almost never sleeps in my room.  I vaguely remember her sneaking in when I popped out to the kitchen for a snack. (Little R's bday cake is almost gone.  Moist and yummy thanks to the cooking prowess of Cutie C). 

The relative I reconnected with on FB last year died suddenly in December.  Yet another random example to hug and kiss and communicate frequently with those you love.
