Mid-century modern Taylor and Taylor.

Work yesterday was fascinating. The store is filled with excellent goodies, yet the book shelves are bare. As I wandered round the store for my morning Facebook photo trek, I was pleased to find that they put that huge Mid-century modern set out. In a corner tho….we do have massive numbers of dish sets out right now, and they aren’t selling.

I took lots of pictures yesterday too. When I got home, I discovered that many were out of focus…fuzzy, even with the image stabilization on automatic. Shakey me. Very disappointing. I especially wanted to get a picture of the overflowing bookshelves. I pulled all the old books out, but even staying an hour late, all I could do was get the new books off the floor.

I have ambitious plans for the day…too ambitious perhaps. So, maybe I will even get a few books shelved too. Maybe.

  • Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts.

  • Himself: Says he is better and went off to the gym.

  • Herself: List: Pool, Drug store for prescription and two meds, books at store, finish printing out the DC book. A little ambitious.

  • Reading: Nothing….wearing a sweatshirt that says, “EAT, SLEEP, READ.”

  • Balance: Remembering to fill up my gym bag shampoo bottle. LOL

It's on my bucket list to visit your thrift shop. [BonnieRose] 11/29/2012 10:28:36 AM

ever think of having an Etsy Cancer site? those dishes would be seen by dozens of girls who are into the retro thing you know [+Pelican] 11/29/2012 11:24:29 AM
Pelican's idea is spectacular. I think it would move a ton of stuff. [Jeanne] 11/29/2012 12:08:48 PM

may be people are collecting extra books to get them through upcoming winter days.
When you take photos do you look through the LCD screen or use a viewfinder to your face? I am not steady either so always buy cameras that have the two options. I then can rest it against my face for steadiness.

The dishes are very similar to a set we had when I was growing up. It may be in a thrift shop somewhere too! [lelis] 11/29/2012 8:28:49 PM
Good to read that G. continues to feel better, well enough to go to the gym! / Yes, the Etsy idea would allow ALL of us to shop at your store. [TickTockTickTock] 11/29/2012 9:36:33 PM

I love the quote: Eat sleep read! :-) [the_mysticalmuse] 11/30/2012 4:07:51 AM
Have you tested the camera with a tripod and tape measure? [ThomaS] 11/30/2012 7:27:46 AM
Glad I'm not the only one who takes blurry pictures! I have image stabilization on too! LOL I think part of the problem may be with my eyes--I'm seeing that it's a clear image when it's possibly not? [Tehachap] 1/8/2013 8:20:37 PM
