Aloha...

Before I write anything about the party... I want to thank you for your notes to me on my last entry... your words of care and compassion mean a great deal to me...

Now... about the party:

I invited 50 friends... and it was a true pot luck... 'bring whatever you want'... and they did...

Auwe... so many good appetizers to sample... great main dishes... lots of unusual wine to drink... fun desserts...

I started barbecuing the chicken around noon... and it rained the whole time... but by four oclock when the first guests arrived... the rain stopped... and the sun finally made an appearance...

From what I could see... and what I was told... everyone (including me) had a great time...

Oh yeah... everyone liked the chicken (smiles)...
