Moved in... Almost Monday, July 02, 2012

The weekend was full of lifting, cleaning, sore muscles, feelings of being overwhelmed and the realization that I have a Sh-- load of crap.  I don't know how all this this fit into my 500 sq. ft. apartment.  AND none of the stuff from our big house is even here yet!  When it does get here, we'll have so many duplicates that I believe a yard sale or lots of Craig's Listing will be going on.  I would say we shouldn't move the duplicates, but the stuff in the big house is really nicer than the stuff I have here.  When I moved up here 4 years ago, it was with the furniture and dishes, pans, extra things we had held onto for the kids when they moved out.  But as luck would have it, they didn't want it.  I have up-graded a few things and redone some things to make they look better - but still...

I will post photos later.  Right now I have been making all the address changes for everything and need to go back into the college town to finish up with the landlord, postmaster, and HR - and to work in the community garden as well as, are you ready for this?   I lot all my keys for my office and storage unit with my daughter's stuff... I can't find them anywhere.  AND I also lost my backpack that use for school.  I have no idea at all where they are.  So, I have placed a call to get new ones made - but the storage unit may need to have the lock cut off and I'll have to get another one... I feel so dumb...

Okay, I just want to give a quick up-date and I will write more later this evening.  My carple tunnel is acting up again - always does when I am doing a lot of physical labor.  I over use my arms all the time.

I will catch you all later.  Have a good one.

It looks like you've been awfully busy since I came here last! You moved? Wow! I can't wait to catch up!

ryn: Thanks for the compliment on my garden. We worked very hard on it.

I seem to have a way with the kiddies. They respond well to me. I don't think anyone would've noticed had the woman I worked with hadn't been so bad at it, lol. We'll see what happens :) [CookingNotes]

I'd offer to come help but for two reasons. (1) No clue how to get there. (2) Sounds exhaustingly like too much work. :)

You take care and try to get some rest. [Zhnee]
