Wowww... I'm oredi in year 3? Its true to say that time flies in Uni and before u noe it you r in yr 3 oredi! For many of my females friends, yr 3 sounds like a thing of the past, and true enough it has been 2 yrs since they are in yr 3 when we guys are juz starting to enter uni. hahaz.. omg.. so now tt i am in yr 3 myself, i feel the pressure and starting to feel like a engineer-to-be cuz im learning all the abstract engineering knowledge and carrying the burden of a engineering senior who is supposed to be a well-oriented, determined and smart student. hahaz.. ops, but i fear more than i can live up to it. But anyways, Im still trying to lead a meaningful and useful life, coping with the ups and downs of everyday living. Juz recently, I finished my design project first presentation and as much as i fear i wouldnt do well being the first presenter for our presentation, surprisingly we did well enough to earn us a few praises from the professors! And im glad i saw the comments from the professors that our presentation was lively and nicely done up, with good speakers who can articulate well and clear. WOW! i was instantly smiling to myself secretly when i saw that comment. hahaz.. okie la.. quite a boost to self confidence. Becuz i feel that the group initially wanted a more serious tone for the presentation but i step forward to say no, I want to be the first presenter and i wan it to be more casual and lively so that the rest of them can be more serious, and this will hopefully balance out to give a not too casual and not too monotonously serious presentation. hahaz.. Right, so this is the start of the Sem and i feel the load coming in oredi. I've got to make myself able to carry them den! Tml is the Presidential election. So cool, 2 election in a single year and i get to vote when im 23yrs old. hahaz.. im gonna cast my vote wisely becuz i view this as an serious issue. I remb sometime ago, a straits times reporter on tv told Mr LKY that singaporeans youngters are apolitical and they do not care more abt politics. After saying that, he earned himself a good rebuttal (AKA scolding) from mr. LKY for making inappropriate assumptions and conclusions. I remb mr. LKY said something about politics being our everyday living and our lives. It is not merely abt who are the PM is, who governs the country, whether we know what our are leaders doing. In fact, we (youngters) are living politics every single day becuz politics affects our lives everyday and we do make complains abt them! (e.g. bus too crowded, waiting time too long, no shelter walkway, etc...) So i do agree with mr. LKY. Although u may not be interested in who our next minster or PM might be, we are actually living politics everyday and it is a fact of life. Wadever the case, im serious abt voting and im gonna exercise my voting rights properly beyond the balloting box tml. okiee. clock reads 1.01am.. maybe i shd slp soonnn... goodnight. =)
