I just smile. Someone asked me after they read my last entry about the prom run-down if I actually was writing this stuff down as it was happening. Ummm....no. I am fortuante to have a graphic memory to remember specifics, plus i add my own personalized editorial and slap approximate times on add to the experience. Yes, I think I did make some of the time up. Gosh, its been a week. I've been doing alot of projects, especially with this new direcing piece.
I did survive the weekend that had everyone vying for time and attention; I shot some of my doctumentary on female impersonators; i shot some of the two short films i am in transition on; I went to alumni weekend at my highschool; i went to the senior awards banquet; and I did some other stuff. It is SO FRIDAY! This weekend is Florin's bachelor party. Sweet! We're heading down to Atlanta for some good times. He knows we're going somewhere, but I've done pretty good on keeping all the specifics under wraps. We've also been doing alot of planning for the wedding night and how to make it extra special for Ashley. KInda wierd, but Florin has always been my bro - he talks to me about the stuff he's keeping away from everyone else.
Gosh...we've been best friends for ten years now. We both came back to the States the same year. Its gonna be hard to see him take this next step. Ashley is great; they've been dating for like 5 years. Practically married already, anyway. I'm just as close to Ashley now as I am to Florin. Ashley lives three houses down from me. Sometimes after a long day, I walk down to her house, crash on her bed with her, watch some American Idol and eat a whole quart of Starbucks Java Chip ice cream. (We really want Ace to win! 5077!) Anyway, wedding stuff and grad stuff and movie stuff is what's on my plate. Sorry i've been elusive from the site. I'll try to do better about posting and stuff... Oh, just found out last night:
BREAKING NEWS - Jason's mother will be coming down here in two weeks to see Jason in "Moon Children." And she (Tonya) will be staying.....at our house. Awesome. I love her - only met her once - but she's good people. She's conservative, though; when I was going to go up to Delaware with Jason for new years, she said I could come, but would have to sleep in a separate room. Ummm.... So, J said she'll be fine sleeping downstairs in the living room, but he will probably watch a movie down there with them and "fall asleep to avoid the 'issue' of oh my god, my son is upstairs in bed with another man!' FUCK! Its our house! This is going to be interesting...
