I've had some noters ask me some questions due to a post on the boards, and since it would take way too many notes to answer all of the questions in depth, I have decided to answer them in their very own entry. I figure that this is a lot of information that people don't know about me anyways, at least people who read my diary don't know. What part of SC do you live in? I live in the upstate of SC, specifically northwest of Columbia. I'm actually about 2 hrs away from Charlotte, which is really nice for going to concerts, especially since I'm also about 2 hrs away from Atlanta. Gives me something to do on the non-football weekends. Do you drive? I don't drive and don't have a car because I only have my permit right now. In fact, I've had my permit since the day I turned 15 and have been renewing it every year since. I was learning how to drive and was on my way to the library with my mom when a guy ran a red light and hit me, making my car undrivable. Once my car was fixed, I was packing to go to boarding school for my junior and senior years of highschool. I wasn't allowed to have a car there and didn't have time to relearn to drive and get my license. Thus, my friends at school are teaching me how to drive and hounding me to get my license, which will happen eventually. I hope. Do you have a job? I do have a job. I work in the biological sciences department of Clemson for a group known as SC LIFE. I'm basically a glorified secretary. Not much else to tell there. What countries have you been to? I've been to Canada (born in Montreal, visited again a couple of years ago), France, England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and India. My first strip overseas was to France, where I lived with a French family in Paris for two weeks. It was lots of fun and it was during the summer after eighth grade. Then, during my Freshman year in highschool I went on another school trip to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. It was really fun and I saw a lot of things from the movie "The Sound of Music." Then, the summer before my freshman year in highschool I went with my family to Paris, Normandy, and London. That was lots of fun, even though it was with my family. Finally, I travelled to India this past spring with a biology class. That was an amazing experience. I saw tigers, a leopards, monkeys, deer, antelope, and lots of other animals. Plus, I've applied for an internship in India for next spring. I'll be there for three months, which will be three months I won't be able to update on a regular basis. What year are you in College? I am a junior attending Clemson University. I'm majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology, but I want to become a teacher eventually. I just think that education majors are crap (I'm sorry if that's your major, this is just how I feel). I also want to do other things besides teaching first, and then go back and teach. I figure that'll give me some fun stories to tell, like about seeing tigers and a leopard. My family: I have a sister who is 18 and will be attending Agnes Scott in the fall. We're really close, in fact, she's coming up to see my tomorrow, and then we're going back home for a week until the next summer session begins for me. I'm close to my mom, and I was my dad's favorite until I decided to major in a BS science. I'm close to my grandmother and my great-grandmother. My family really isn't all that big, and I don't know a lot of my cousins. Although, one of my cousins died recently of a drug overdose, and I actually was close to her. Religion: Hmmm....That's a toughie. I'm a Christian scientist. I've been getting into lots of religious arguments recently, which has been...interesting. But I'll have to get into all of that later. I was brought up Methodist, and love the methodist church, but I don't like going to church. What I do for fun: Well, I like to read and collect angels. I love to go to the beach, which I'm going to be doing in a couple of days. I also like to watch football, but only Clemson, ACC, and college football (in that order). I will follow any and all Clemson sports If anybody has any other questions, just leave me a note and I'll answer them.
