Holy cow...I didn't realize that it had been so long since I posted over here. I', sowwwyyyyyyy..I'll be back in the swing of things in no time :)
Yep I had to go to the ER last night after class :(. Here's what happened...to be honest I'm not sure how I did it. Monday night before I left for class I noticed that my left hand was swollen a lil, but I didn't think anything of it, that was until I picked up my psych book off my desk. OMG I couldn't pick it up, my hand and wrist were killing me. So I went to class and tried to use just my right hand, but sometimes that's hard to do. Anyway, by the time I got home from class it was swollen bad, you could really tell it was this time. I put some ice on it and was going to wrap it in an ace bandage, but was told not to by a couple of my EMT friends. I was hoping Tues that it was gone, but I was wrong. It kept throbbing and it swelled real bad again. So I iced it and let it go again. I know I know..should have had it looked at then. So all day yesterday I had trouble with it, but tried to play it off. It would have worked had I not been running late for my 2nd class and tried to pick up my back pack with that hand. OMG I was in tears by the time I got to the car. Then and there I decided that I was going to go to the ER and have it looked at. I went to class and every one was commenting on how swollen it was, even the teacher. He let us out at like 9:30 so I went straight from school to the hospital. 4 and 1/2 hours later I get told it's just severe tendinitis, get sent home with a brace that goes from my hand to my elbow, Flexeril, Ibuprofen, and stricked orders not to take the brace off until I see my PCP next week.
Ok so does anyone see anything wrong with this picture? UMMMMMMMMMMM how the heck am I going to take care of gma if I can't use my left hand? and HELLOOOOOOOOOOO...I don't have ins...dang I couldn't afford to go to the ER last night much less afford to go to my PCP again...Yah this should just be a bundle of laughs. Can I say I hate my life now ? :P. Anyway...let me get off this thing so I can lay down...these meds are kicking my butt. Ya'll know how to reach me if ya need me. Love you guys ((huggs))
