Hello my lovelies!

It's been what, since May that I last wrote in here.  I hope you are all well.

My fall classes resume one week from today.  Hooray!  Summer semester didn't turn out as I had hoped.  I should have taken the entire Summer off as I really needed the break, but sadly didn't realize it until it was too late.  Live and learn.

On the side I found myself addicted to this game on my iPhone, and while it was a fun way to blow a Summer, it was definitely a learning experience.  Gamer's are a very strange breed.  They come in a variety of ages and backgrounds, and I can't determine if many play because they like the game or they like to flirt.  There was a ton of flirting, and let me just say now, it was done in poor taste.  I am seriously not a fan of perverts, they are quite low class in my opinion.  I didn't engage in that type of flirting, as I have more class than that, but the game itself was fun.  It reminded me of Age of Empires, which is one of my favorite games.

Other than that, I don't really have a whole lot to update you all on.  I'm still not working, but I also gave up looking during the summer.  It just seems kinda pointless at times, and I was tired of feeling discouraged when I would apply for a position and hear nothing.  I just needed a break.  However, my sister found a job and also my Mom recently was offered a position last week.  Both are working full-time, so that is good news. My Mom had been unemployed for almost 3 years, so this position is indeed a blessing to her.  Out of all of us who were unemployed, there are two remaining, one of my brothers and myself.  

I think I finally got over my insomnia.  My body clock re-set itself somewhere along the way this Summer, which I am thankful for, as now I am usually in bed between 10:00pm-10:30pm, and waking up on my own between 6:30am-8:30am.  Maybe subconsciously I'm preparing to return to work?  I don't know, but it's nice to have some regularity return to my life 

That's about it on my end.  I thought I'd drop in, say hello, and let you all know that I am still alive, and doing well for a change.  I hope you all are doing well too, and that your Summers were filled with fun, adventure and times of relaxation.
