Dear Diary,
My Goodness! Life has been busy! Good busy but WAY too busy to blog about. I have GOBS of pictures to share. I seriously just ordered over 600 pictures from the last 6 weeks. Holy Shutterbug! About 2 years ago Reagan's grandpa gave him a box of plain wood things he picked up at an auction. He painted two of the bird houses for above his patio roof. I sewed all of the pillows, curtains and linens. We've had this little mailbox for a couple of years as well. It was a second hand find and looks cute by his little house. I've been leaving him little letters. This one was from Sir Toppam Hatt. He's the Controller of the Railroad on The Island of Sodor where Thomas the Tank Engine is from. Checking the mail.... This outfit he's wearing makes him look like he should be one of the kids on a Barney episode. We were on our way to a fish themed storytime at the library and they're encouraged to dress for each theme this summer. Looking at his letter. resting.... His house cat.... I love the little snail and toad on the window sill. I think they're from JoAnns. The little pinwheel in the plant is from Dollar Tree. The spotty mushroom is from Target.
The little birdbath with a gnome reading is from the grocery store or maybe CVS. The tiny doormat was in the One Spot at Target. A little gnome thermometer. Reagan acts like it's his doorbell. I should get him an actual doorbell of some sort. Dollar Tree windchime... The Lady Bug rug was just $3.99 at Christmas Tree Shoppes. We used some old wooden filing drawers as supports for the base of his bed / train table. I tucked bug print paper in the label spot. The bed cover is tied closed around the pad. I thought the look was cute and I want to be able to easily take it off and wash it from time to time. I'm loving the pom pom fringe! Last week we bought a World Map and US Map (placemats) at a cool toy store down at the beach to add to his little house. The green hanging lantern is a Dollar Tree item. We added a Sesame Place map after our trip there on Thursday. He has a Magic Kingdom map and a Dutch Wonderland park map hung, too. Watching a Thomas DVD on his little DVD player. The neighbor had a yardsale this past weekend and I picked up this little spice rack and filled it with goodies for him. This little side table was found at the same yard sale as the spice rack. His bug catching net... (Jo Ann's find) More bug catching supplies. Catching fireflies! All decorated for his birthday party on the 12th. Such a fun project! Time for bed now.... I hope to continue to do some more picture shares over the next few days before we leave for the beach.
