Dear Diary,
I left off with pictures of some time spent on the beach along one of the lagoons. It clouded over a bit and started to sprinkle. We took that as an opportunity to duck inside to check out The Dig which is a system of acquariums that are, in my opinion, pretty impressive. Reagan bundled up after getting out of the rain just before entering The Dig. I took a ton of fish pics.. I'll try and pick and choose rather than post them all... Little boys always think it is cool to see sharks! Stingray... This area was somewhat like a tunnel of aquarium... Seahorse! "Nemo and an anenome".... Jellyfish... Reagan thought the Eels were awesome. Honestly they creep me out a bit. The tank was full of them and they were popping out of these pots... We checked out the giftshop. Reagan picked out a cool set of Atlantis Legos and also a Moray Eel for his animal toy collection. Just outside the giftshop.... Back to the aquariums... BIG fish! Lobstah! We spent a bit of time in the hotel after the aquarium and saw the rest of the Dale Chuhily glass art.... This first one is just a fountain... These three are the Dale Chuhily pieces... We continued exploring the resort grounds... Another sting ray pool.... There are all sorts of cool bridges along the paths... A rare shot of mommy.... This rope tunnel bridge was very cool! If you look closely in this next one there's a peek of shark fin.... It is so pretty at every turn! Monkeying Around! Another view of the "Michael Jackson Suite" I mentioned in the prior entry... Very cool flying fish fountain... This was an especially pretty spot. Yet another type of stingrays lived in this area.... Their climbing wall... The main hotel from another section of the resort grounds... We checked out the Dolphin Cay but you couldn't see a lot from the viewing area. This is an area where you can swim with the dolphins... An island mocktail for the Love Bug... Back on the beach... YaY! Can't get enough of him! Filling up the bucket! That's it for Atlantis! We really enjoyed our day there! Next... back on the ship.... in another entry. This past weekend when I scrapped away I scrapped the Bahamas / Atlantis pictures in addition to the Disney pictures. If I can get my act together I'll be back in a bit to share the scrapped pages.
