My son and daughter-in-law have been in Pennsylvania for the past 10 days visiting family.  They left for home yesterday afternoon.

About 4 hours later....we got a phone call from them saying that they had been in an accident.   They were on I-79 in West  Virginia...and it was  raining and the road was slippery.  My son was driving and he took his foot off the gas pedal to start to slow down when he started hydroplaning.  They hit the concrete median 3 times as they spun around before they finally stopped.  My  daughter-in-law had her leg pinned in the car...but the fire department was able to get her out.  Both she and my son walked away with nothing more than a few bumps and bruises.  Luckily they both had their seat belts/shoulder harnesses on....and both air bags deployed.  I just thank God that they both got out alive and were not seriously injured.  The car however was totaled.

My daughter and son-in-law left last night to go pick them up.  They got there about 7 this morning and are now on their way back to Florida.  It is about a 26 hour drive round trip.  I just pray that they all make it home safe and sound.  I am trusting the Lord to keep them safe.
