I'm reading Pride and Prejudice once again, this time in french (yes congratulate me, I finally worked up the energy and did it!), and I'm almost at the end. I'm in the middle of the scene where Bingley and Darcy visit the Bennets after being in London for so long, after Elizabeth has discovered how Darcy shouldered Wickham's debts in order to save Lydia's honour (/what was left of it), and they're sitting in the parlour. Elizabeth can't even look at him but oh how much he loves her! And she knows now that she loves him! Oh my goodness, can you imagine how he must feel? After seeing her at Pemberley, he was ready to propose to her! He was on the verge of doing it I'm sure, that's why he showed up when he did, and was there when Elizabeth found out about Lydia, and now he's seeing her again, and she won't even look at him! And he's looking to see if Elizabeth was right about Jane's love for Bingley (not that he doubts Lizzy's word), but he wants to see how he was mistaken, aaaah! It's so perfect, I love it. He's there, and everything is going to be perfect! Bingley and Jane, they'll happen, and then and then and then!! He'll risk it all again, because that is how much he loves Elizabeth! Isn't it amazing? He swallows his pride, he doesn't care about any of it, and there's a lot there for him to care about, he'll be marrying into Wickham's family!! because he loves Elizabeth so strongly, so ardently, so MUCH that he can't stop himself! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I love this book. Isn't it perfect? He loves her so much! He does he truly does, isn't life amazing?

Alright, this book induces ecstasy, I'm going to go eat the rest of it.

This book makes me understand why Liesel says Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee after whatshisface kisses her, in The Sound of Music. That's how it feels! That's how it makes me feel.
