So. Tomorrow i will have an extra intense counseling session. One of my goals is to deal with grief. The death of my best friend, the death of my child.
My assignment is to bring in mementos. I have a box of them Pretty much they represent all i have of Jennifer, my child, and the abusive ex, Trent.
This is going to be tough. I don't know how things will work out. I'll have an hour to reflect/recoup before i have to pick up my nephew from school. I might end up writing here, i might write in my journal.
Oh gosh.

You are going to do great. This is tough work, but we do it because we WANT to get better; we are determined, self-aware, and good people.
Having said that, would you like a giggle? When I first glanced at this entry (as it was loading) I thought it said "my assignment is to bring in mentos." And I thought oh man, she's required to bring CANDY to her sessions? :D

RYN: I put in the request for the Game of Thrones DVD today through the online library. Looking forward to getting it and watching it. I like to watch series like that, the library lets us checks out most DVDs of TV shows for 2 weeks, so I'll have plenty of time.
Good luck at the counseling session. Sounds as though you have a lot to overcome. I'm wishing for the best for you. I can't imagine the death of my child. {{{huggs}}} [inmylife]
